Earlier last week, the Pirabad SHO found himself in hot water after he allegedly beat up a court staffer. SHO Ijaz Brohi was removed from his post and an inquiry was launched at the behest of West district judge Ghulam Mustafa Memon.

Imran, a court stenographer, contended that he was on his way home in the Pirabad area on Sunday when he encountered a water shortage protest.
