Summer vacations: ‘Complete syllabus by Friday’

The minister directed the institutes to increase the daily study hours if need be.

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Minister of State Usman Ibrahim directed schools and colleges to ensure completion of syllabus within this week, said a press release issued on Wednesday. The minister directed the institutes to increase the daily study hours if need be. The number of classes has been increased from seven to eight for the next two days so the weekly target of 40 hours of study could be met. Besides, the CADD has notified summer vacations to start from June 6 in all public sector schools and colleges. The educational institutes will re-open on August 11.
