Allocation: ‘Funds for south Punjab on the cards’

            Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani said on Monday the southern Punjab would get ample development funds in the 2015-16 budget. He said the government was committed to bringing underdeveloped areas at par with developed regions. Addressing a public meeting in Jampur, he said the government was cognizant of the problems of people of south Punjab and was taking steps to address them. He said the Jampur THQ Hospital would soon get dialysis machines for kidney patients. Gorchani said all rural roads would be rehabilitated by 2018.
