Police claimed on Monday to have arrested two members of a gang involved in target killings in Faisalabad

Police claimed on Monday to have arrested two members of a gang involved in target killings in Faisalabad. Saddar SHO Malik Muhammad Jahangir Khan told The Express Tribune that a police team had arrested Jahangir alias Jugno and his brother Nafees alias Goga from near Khalsa College. He said the men were from Karachi and had been involved in murders of 19 people, including a former chairman of the Faisalabad market committee.



Khan said the gang had been headed by former sub inspector Rana Farrukh Waheed and comprised of two police constables, three shooters and three others. He said the gang had been operating in the city for nearly two years.
