SHABQADAR: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Thursday that Pakistan was a victim of state sponsored terrorism.

Without naming any country, Nisar said that those fighting in the name of Islam are foreign-funded puppets who do not want Pakistan to progress. He said the world now realised that these states are fighting proxies in Pakistan. However we are committed to progress and to defeating our enemy.

The minister was addressing a crowd gathered in Shabqadar Fort on Thursday during the passing out parade for Frontier Constabulary recruits – the first in four years. Some 2,340 recruits passed their five-month long training.

In his remarks, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said those who are targeting women, children, elders and minority have nothing to do with Islam, which is a religion of peace.

The minister said that the government’s top priority is to make a peaceful and progressive Pakistan and under the National Action Plan the nation have observed the most peace experienced in a long time in the past few months.

“Our forces and agencies have exemplary coordination with each other after
NAP. And we will well equip the FC with sophisticated weapons and will train them in terrorism.”

He also praised the FC and its sacrifices for peace and quoted that 341 FC jawan have received martyrdom and 501 were wounded in the past few years of militancy.

Jalal | 8 years ago | Reply Why are they marching like SSG? It is just a passing out ceremony and that also of a paramilitary group.
Nikki | 8 years ago | Reply Indian home minister and defence minister clearly targeting Pakistan in their news press conferences. Whts wrong with Pakistani Home minister cannot mention India which is supporting anti state actors in Pakistan.Ruler's apologetic attitudes has eroded Pakistan's security. If this man has no courage to name PK's enemies then he should leave this country.
