ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced on Monday that it would hand over possession of plots to nearly 250 allottees at the Park Enclave by mid-August this year while the rest of the allottees will be given possession by December.

Development work at the scheme, which was announced in 2011, is in progress, with the authority having already sold nearly 718 plots of one kanal and 61 of two-kanal.

“CDA has recently kicked-off construction of two
different approach roads to further ease access to Park Enclave,” CDA spokesperson Ramzan Sajid said, adding that heavy machinery was being utilised for construction of these approach roads from Kuri Road and Park Road.

About the overall development work completed so far at the scheme, Sajid said CDA had completed two overhead and as many underground water tanks, and in order to ensure provision of clean drinking water, the installation of two tube-wells was also completed.

Moreover, he said, almost 80 per cent of the earthwork had also been completed. He said carpeting of already completed roads would commence by the end of this month.

Sajid said 28 roads structures were near completion and to ensure the security at the housing scheme, four security pickets had been constructed.

He added that the CDA in addition to the early completion of development work at Park Enclave was also completing the remaining development work in sector D-12 on a war footing and ensuring the availability of funds so development work in the sector could be completed at the earliest.
