Development: Irrigation schemes approved

LAHORE:
The Provincial Development Working Party on Thursday approved two irrigation sector development schemes worth Rs740.5 million. The schemes were approved in the special meeting of the PDWP for fiscal year 2014-15. The department spokesman said the approved development schemes are: enhancing the capacity of Bhed stream and Laila drain in Sheikhupura district. P&D Secretary Waseem Ajmal, board members, and senior officials attended the meeting.
