Demanding action: ISO condemns Karachi attack
Turi demanded action be taken against the culprits and against those who support militants
PESHAWAR:
Imamia Student Organization (ISO) Information Secretary Ali Jan Turi has condemned the terrorist attack on a bus in Karachi’s Safora Chowrangi area on Wednesday that left 43 dead and 24 people injured. Militants boarded the bus which was carrying members of the Ismaili sect and opened indiscriminate fire. According to a press release issued by ISO, the government has failed to protect the citizens of the country. The statement quoted Turi as saying, “After the Safora Chowrangi massacre it has been proven that the incumbent government has failed to protect the people.” Turi said the tragedy would not have happened if the National Action Plan would have been properly implemented. Turi demanded action be taken against the culprits and against those who support militants.
