Time’s up : Extension of two SHC judges denied
ISLAMABAD:
A meeting of the Judicial Commission was held on Monday to consider the extension of four additional judges of Sindh High Court. The commission has dropped the names of two SHC additional judges, Justice Amir Raza Naqvi and Justice Shahab Sarki. Justice Naqvi was reappointed last year. Earlier, he was removed through July 31, 2009, verdict because he was appointed on the recommendation of retired Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar. The commission proposed the confirmation of one SHC judge justice, Muhammad Iqbal Kolhoro, and recommended a one-year extension for Justice Syed Saeeduddin Nasir.
