HYDERABAD: Three young boys drowned while swimming in River Indus near Purana Hala town in Matiari district. The body of 10-year-old Aftab Malik was pulled out of the water on Monday afternoon. The bodies of nine-year-old Yasir Malik and 11-year-old Asad Malik could not be recovered till the evening due to high flow in the river. Rehmat Ali Malik, father of Asad and Yasir, a farmer, said they were with many other boys who were swimming in the river when the three of them went missing. The local volunteer divers spent the whole day trying to find the bodies but only one could be found. A team of 11 divers from Hyderabad was also called several hours later to help in the search.
