Fawad Khan begins shooting for 'Kapoor and Sons'

MUMBAI: The shooting of Fawad Khan's upcoming modern family drama film Kapoor & Sons began on Sunday.

The film has the heartthrob starring opposite rumoured couple Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra as well as Bollywood legend Rishi Kapoor.

This is Fawad Afzal Khan's second Bollywood venture after the hit Khoobsurat. The singer-turned-actor will also be starring in Mr Chalu opposite Priyanka Chopra.

Karan Johar had producted Batra’s directorial debut Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu as well as Alia and Sidharth's debut film Student Of The Year.

Meanwhile, the multi-faceted Karan - actor, director, producer, screen writer, costume designer and TV personality - will next be seen showcasing his skills as an actor in the role of Kaizad Khambata in Anurag Kashyap's period crime drama film Bombay Velvet.

The film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, is set to release on May 15.

Fans took pictures of the actor as he landed at the Mumbai airport for the shooting of the film.
