15 model cattle markets planned for Sargodha
The commissioner was told that funds for the model cattle markets had been allocated.

As many as 15 model cattle markets will be established across the division under the Cattle Market Management Company. This was disclosed in a meeting of Cattle Market Management Company, presided over by Sargodha Commissioner Muhammad Asif and district coordination officers of four districts.
MPA Dr Nadia Aziz was also present. The commissioner was told that funds for the model cattle markets had been allocated.
He was told that the existing cattle markets would remain operational under the control of tehsil municipal administrations.
The meeting was told that Khushab cattle market was being upgraded to model market. The market would be developed over 76 acres near Katha Sagral road at a cost of Rs1.29 billion.

This would be the second largest cattle market in the Punjab after Lahore. The commissioner said three cattle markets would be established in Sargodha, five in Mianwali and six would in Bhakkar.
