ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) presented on Monday a list of 65 constituencies before a judicial commission that should be probed for alleged rigging in 2013 general elections, Express News reported.
Political parties - which claimed election rigging - were asked by the General Elections 2013 Inquiry Commission, investigating the vote fraud allegations, to fill out a questionnaire asking the parties if the polls were ‘systematically’ rigged and, if so, to identify the perpetrators.
In a reply submitted to the commission, PPP said concerned authorities should have no objection to recounting votes if they believe elections were not rigged.
PPP had earlier said it will not submit any rigging evidence and will solely rely upon the evidences to be presented by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

“The PPP has absolved itself of the challenging task to identify the perpetrators, while shifting the onus of responsibility onto the PTI’s shoulders,” a party leader conceded while talking to The Express Tribune on Friday.
