Bright future: Minister promises excellence
Minister took notice of non utilitisation of renewable energy technology machinery lying at PCSIR laboratories
ISLAMABAD:
Chairing a high level meeting regarding the performance of the ministry and its attached organisations, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Rana Tanveer took serious notice of the renewable energy technology machinery lying at Pakistan Council for Research in Industrial Resources (PCSIR) laboratories in Peshawar without being utilised since 1989. He directed an inquiry to be conducted and report submitted within 15 days, according to a press release. Reiterating government’s commitment of service delivery, he said that from now on, it will set priorities to excel in every field. “There must be strong linkages among R&D organisations, academia and industries which should carry out demand driven research, resolve industrial and technical problems and indigenise technology, products and processes developed by the public sector,” he added.
