The earthquake not only destroyed the lives of thousands but also reduced a number of historical buildings to rubble

The people of Nepal were left devastated yesterday (Saturday), when an earthquake measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale left over 2,000 people dead with rescue and relief operations still underway.

The earthquake, which centered less than 50 miles from Kathmandu, not only destroyed the lives of thousands but also a number of historical buildings in the country, which were reduced to rubble.
