LOS ANGELES: Paul Walker might be gone but he will surely not be forgotten. The actor’s bright orange coloured 1993 Toyota Supra from the first Fast and Furious franchise is going to be up for auction in May.

The original car will be auctioned by Mecum Auctions at their Indy 2015 event in Indianapolis, Indiana, between May 12 and 17, reports Aceshowbiz.

The Supra sports a 2JZ-GE 3.0-liter inline-6 engine, with a 220 horse power under the hood. It is equipped with a pair of Holley Performance nitrous-oxide bottles, as in the movie, but they are not connected. Additionally, it has a five-speed manual transmission, a heavy duty suspension and roll cage. The phenomenal car is expected to fetch around $200,000.

The car, which is one of a few used in the movie, was used in the memorable final scenes of the 2001 Fast and Furious movie. In the scene, Walker is driving the bright orange coloured car, racing against actor Vin Diesel who is in his Dodge Charger, and jumping across a railroad crossing before Diesel collides with a truck.

Even though Paul Walker is no longer with us, the Fast and Furious franchise is still as much, if not more of, a force to be reckoned with than it ever was. Not only is the latest chapter, Furious 7, the fastest movie ever to earn $1 billion at the box office, but just today, Vin Diesel announced that Fast and Furious 8 will roar into theaters on April 14, 2017, reports Cineblend.
