Ticket allotment: PTI decry minister’s ‘interference’

Around 200 protesters holding placards and PTI flags gathered outside CM House

PESHAWAR: Activists from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf protested against Minister for Mines and Minerals Ziaullah Afridi for allegedly interfering in ticket distribution in another constituency for LG polls. Around 200 protesters holding placards and PTI flags gathered outside CM House on Sunday, shouting slogans against Afridi. They said they were from the constituency PK-2, Peshawar-II and Afridi who was elected from PK-1, Peshawar-I was getting involved in the ticket distribution for their constituency. “We have trust in Shaukat Yousufzai who is our elected representative and Ziaullah Afridi should not interfere in our matters,” said Liaqat.
