ISLAMABAD: The crisis in Arabian Peninsula will be among the top agenda items during a conference on international security being held in Moscow. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, who reached Moscow to attend the moot, held meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu, on Thursday, a press release said. Both sides agreed that the on-going Yemen conflict should be resolved through diplomatic means and use of force must be discouraged and abandoned. The representatives of Islamabad and the Kremlin had a consensus that a multi-polar world will ensure peace and balance in international relations. The defence ministers of Cold War rival countries discussed mutual cooperation in military training, import of arms and equipment. They also discussed joint military exercises.
