Firing incident: Man shot, injured; maid booked
The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws.
A man was shot and injured and a woman was booked in separate incidents in the Sabzi Mandi area on Thursday.
In the first incident, Muhammad Farooq lodged a complaint with the local police stating that Muhammad Ashfaq and his unidentified accomplice opened fire at him on IJP Road and fled, leaving him injured.
Meanwhile, Nargis Fatima reported to the same police that her maid, Sidra, had stolen cash and jewellery worth Rs600,000 from her house in Sector I-10/1. The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws.
