Tragedy: One dies in road accident

MUZAFFARABAD: At least one passenger was killed and 19 others suffered injuries in a road accident in Kotli district during the wee hours of Thursday. Police said the passengers bus was en route to Nakyal from Rawalpindi but fell into a ravine while negotiating a sharp curve near Sehnsa in Kotli district. One of the passengers, identified as Muhammad Majeed, died on the spot while 19 others received injuries. Residents of the area and the local administration pulled out the injured out of the bus and took them to tehsil headquarters hospital Sehnsa. Doctors said nobody suffered serious injuries except the one victim. Passengers said that the driver had slept which caused the accident. The driver had fled from the scene.
