Three murder convicts hanged in jails across Punjab

Three murder convicts were hanged in jails across Punjab earlier this morning, Express News reported Thursday.
In Central Gujranwala Jail two murder convicts, Abdul Jabbar and Ijaz Arif were hanged for murders committed in 2001 and 1995 respectively.

Jabbar had killed his friend for reasons unknown in 2001 while Arif had killed a man named Zulfiqar in 1995.

Meanwhile in Faisalabad Central Jail, murder convict Zafar Iqbal was hanged for the murder of a female during a burglary conducted in 2005.
