Youhanabad riots: Bail extended for woman driver
The judge had granted Maryam Safdar bail against Rs100,000 bonds

An additional district and sessions judge extended till April 18 the interim bail of a woman accused of running her car over two people and injuring 12 during a riot in Youhanabad. The judge had granted Maryam Safdar bail against Rs100,000 bonds. On Wednesday, the judge directed the investigation officer to complete the investigation and report by April 18. Safdar was directed to join the investigation and appear before the court on every date of the hearing till it was disposed of. Safdar had said that she was innocent and that the FIR registered against her was frivolous. The FIR against Safdar alleges manslaughter and causing injury.
