KARACHI:
The ongoing operation against unauthorised commercial structures across Sindh was not in any way against a particular group, said Sindh Minister for Local Government Sharjeel Inam Memon on Wednesday. He emphasised that the operation was not being done under any pressure. “Most of these were meant for educational institutions or health centres and while trimming the size of these facilities, vacant land was turned into marriage halls,” said the minister. He reiterated that the operation will continue until all the encroachments were erased from across the province including Karachi.
