Open debate key to Balochistan issue: analysts

Analysts have called for an open and honest debate to address lack of development in Balochistan.

They were speaking at a seminar on “Socioeconomic Disparities and Insurgency in Balochistan: The Way Forward” organised by the SDPI on Monday, said a press release. Mir Mohammad Ali Talpur, son of the late defence minister Mir Ali Ahmed Khan Talpur, said that multiple socioeconomic disparities prevail in Balochistan. He, however, said that these concerns do not justify killings of the innocent.
