French firm: Ambassador visits Sanofi operations
The envoy was briefed about the local pharmaceutical industry and the scope of Sanofi Pakistan’s operations.
KARACHI:
The newly appointed Ambassador of France to Pakistan, Martine Dorance, visited the Karachi Head Office of Sanofi Pakistan, accompanied by French Consul General Francois Dall’Orso and Head of the Economic Department at the Embassy of France in Pakistan Eric Noitakis. Sanofi is one of the largest French businesses in Pakistan and the major one in the pharmaceutical sector. As the Ambassador is new to Pakistan and it was her first visit to Sanofi, she was briefed about the local pharmaceutical industry and the scope of Sanofi Pakistan’s operations. The manufacturing site at Karachi is producing over 109 million packs of medicines annually to global quality standards. She also met with senior management and discussed challenges and opportunities faced by Sanofi in Pakistan.
