Enforce The Law: CM wants police to clear katcha areas
He passed the order while presiding over a cabinet meeting at the CM House on Monday
KARACHI:
The Sindh chief minister, on the advice of his cabinet, has directed the police IG to launch a rigorous operation in the katcha areas of Ghotki, Kashmore and Shikarpur. He passed the order while presiding over a cabinet meeting at the CM House on Monday. “I want you to clamp down on all the criminals who have established their sanctuaries in the katcha areas and are carrying out criminal activities in the two divisions,” he said. “We have a responsibility to the people of Sindh to provide them safety and security.” The chief minister also assured the cabinet that a DNA laboratory would be established in Sindh, for which he directed the chief secretary to prepare drafting a proposal. He also directed the chief secretary to go through the list of equipment required by the police and then seek his approval so that the police could be armed properly.
