Conference: Call for legislation on cyber security

                                                                                            Speakers have called for legislation to curb cyber crimes in the country, said a press release. They were speaking at a conference on cyber security organised by the Pakistan Information Cyber Security Association at the National University of Science and Technology. The experts also stressed the need for creating awareness of cyber crimes. National and international cyber security experts, Google representatives and a large number of the students of information technology attended the five-day conference. The speakers said that cyber crimes were on the rise across the world and called upon the government to increase public awareness of the cyber crimes and laws. A number of technical workshops were also part of the conference.
