Introduction : NCCPL launches new service
The NCS provides an option to investors to directly settle their trades and transactions with the NCCPL.
National Clearing Company of Pakistan (NCCPL) has formally launched its latest service “National Custodial Services” which offers investors a centralised clearing, settlement and custodial function. This was revealed by the NCCPL Board Chairman Nadeem Naqvi while addressing a press conference at the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Thursday. He said that the latest service was for capital market investors as it offers net settlement of trades directly with NCCPL, safekeeping of securities and deposits, hassle-free book keeping and reduced administrative work among others. Naqvi said that it was a bid to further strengthen the efficiency and convenience of capital market operations. The NCS provides an option to investors to directly settle their trades and transactions with the NCCPL.
