LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Tuesday dismissed a bail petition moved by Uzma Rao alias Tooba in the Abeera murder case. She told the court that she was not involved in Abeera’s murder and had been implicated in the case by police. According to police, Tooba allegedly planned to murder her former husband Babar Javed Butt with the help of her friend Abeera. When Abeera refused to help her, Tooba poisoned her. Co-accused Farooqur Rehman purchased the poison from Zeeshan. Both of them are also in police custody. Police said that Tooba had also confessed to killing Yousaf Khokhar, a journalist.
