Heinous crime: Missing 3-year-old found murdered

Body of a three-year-old girl was found from a vacant plot on Kamahan Road in Nishter Colony on Tuesday. Police suspect that she was raped before being murdered. Nishter Colony SHO Tanveer Ahmad said that Manisha Javed, 3, went missing from near her house on April 4. “Her family did not immediately contact police and instead continued looking for her on their own. On Tuesday, passers by spotted her body and informed her parents; who identified her and called police,” Ahmad said. The body has been sent to a hospital for autopsy.
