LAHORE:
Veteran reporter Asad Abbas Sahi, 48, passed away following a heart attack late on Saturday in Lahore.
Sahi was born on December 18, 1967 in Mandranwala village near Daska in Sialkot district. He was laid to rest in Mandranwala on Sunday. Sahi was working as chief reporter at a private TV channel. According to his close friend Mubasher Bukhari, Asad had remained the vice president of PFUJ.
“He was a keen observer and a well-prepared reporter. At a crime scene, he would work like a skilled investigator and often found clues himself,” Bukhari said.
