Crime diary: Police round up 16 suspects

ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Police on Friday arrested 16 suspects from various areas of the city and recovered hashish, weapons and looted items from their possession.      

According to the daily crime diary, Sihala police arrested a suspected drug pusher Qadeer in possession of 1.15 kilogramme hashish. Khanna police arrested a Liaqat Ali for carrying a 30-bore pistol while Rahat Abbasi was arrested for his suspected involvement in a theft case.

Koral police arrested two suspected bike lifters Saad and Adeel while Industrial Area police arrested Shahid for allegedly defrauding public portraying himself as a government servant.

CIA police arrested Nabi Gul, Habib Gul and Arshad Mehmood after stolen property was recovered from them.

Shalimar police arrested Asif for his suspected involvement in a robbery case.

Koral police arrested two suspects Ehsan and Akhtar Zaman for involvement in ‘immoral activities’.

Cases have been registered against all the suspects.
