Slain APS professor honoured with Tamgha-e-Shujaat
The award was received by his son Faizan Nawab and brother Dr Umer Ali

Professor Nawab Ali, who saved 45 lives and then ending up giving his own, during the horrific Peshawar school attack was awarded with the Tamgha-e-Shujaat on March 23 at the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor House.
The award was received by his son Faizan Nawab and brother Dr Umer Ali.

Many residents of Charsadda thanked President Mamnoon Hussain and K-P Governor Sardar Mehtab for recognising Ali’s efforts and for honouring his bravery.

Further, they also demanded that the name of the government college in Charsadda to include his name as well.
