A couple of days ago Hamza Ali Abbasi announced on Facebook he was proud of Zhalay Sarhadi for not "taking off clothes" for her performance in Jalaibee song. His statement coincided with the release of  Ayesha Omar's item number teaser.

The actor on Monday took to Facebook for yet another comment, this time claiming he wasn't pointing fingers at an individual. "I absolutely hate it when my comments are presented as being against an individual." he wrote, adding that he was himself a part of "negative trends in the media" since he has romanced "women in bikinis" in an upcoming comedy film.

The actor had earlier said, "I am tremendously proud of Zahalay Sarhadi for not taking her clothes off in her performance in the film. Proud of Yasir Jaswal for not going along with the emerging trend of revealing "item numbers" in Pakistani films.

Ahmed | 9 years ago | Reply Item song is all great for entertainment purposes. But for ayesha omar to reveal so much skin is a little too early, too late. She should have waited until PK was ready which it would be in a couple of years. Any way, desperate measures for desperate times. LOL.
shehryar | 9 years ago | Reply so it's ok for our movies to be wannabe hollywood (waar, 021) and wannabe iranian cinema (dukhtar, seedlings) but heaven forbid that we should want to be anything like the ppl we were a part of just 60 odd years ago. makes total sense.
