From a 'clean' stand-up comedy and a play performed by his children, to wife Kiran Rao singing the Beatles hit 'When I'm 64’, Aamir Khan's 50th birthday was a chaste affair, reported The Times of India.
Following the controversy over the AIB Roast, stand-up comedian Raju Srivastav was instructed to stick to 'clean-comedy'.

The celebration was a weekend bash at a Lonavala resort in presence of Aamir's industry friends, Rajkumar Hirani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Prasoon Joshi, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Kunal Kapoor and family, Mukesh Ambani with wife Nita and family.
In an emotional speech, Aamir thanked ex-wife, Reena, for "bearing" with him for 16 years, and Kiran for "somehow keeping up" with him.
