Illegal activities: Eight alleged sex workers arrested
There, police arrested three transgender persons.

Police claim to have rounded up five women and three transgenders for allegedly serving as sex workers in different parts of the city, a police official said on Friday. Cantonment police SHO Javed Khan said they raided houses being used as brothels in Salhad village, Link Road and Band Khoo on Thursday. There, police arrested three transgender persons. Five women were also apprehended on the same charges. Criminal cases under Section 294 of the Pakistan Penal Code were registered against them and they were sent to Mansehra District Jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
