Accountability: AG’s help sought on Model Town pleas

The bench said the court had to determine whether the tribunal was constitutional

LAHORE: Lahore High Court on Friday sought help from the attorney general on pleas against the government for not making the judicial inquiry report of the Model Town violence public. The bench said the court had to determine whether the tribunal was constitutional.  The petitioners’ counsel said justice would not be served if judicial tribunals were declared unconstitutional. The bench adjourned hearing till March 27.
