Important Lessons: ‘Rescue-1122 a model organisation’

Sarwar lamented that the government was neglecting the agriculture sector.

SAHIWAL: The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf will ensure that all government bodies follow in the footsteps of Rescue 1122 in serving the people, PTI president Chaudhary Sarwar said on Monday. He was addressing a gathering of party workers in Cheechawatni. He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi should be praised for having set up the emergency service in the province. Earlier, seven people from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Sahiwal and Cheechawatni district bodies present on the occasion announced they were joining the PTI. PTI Punjab president Ijaz Chaudhry and National Assembly Member Rai Hasan Nawaz were also present at the occasion. Sarwar lamented that the government was neglecting the agriculture sector which contributed most to the country’s revenue.
