Bad blood: Still loyal to PTI, says Javed Nasim
Claims he is being punished for his firm stance on fighting for people’s rights

MPA Javed Nasim, who was recently expelled from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for violating party discipline, said on Monday he has been punished for his firm stance on the rights of the common man.
"They don’t want to face reality and bring real change to the country where the common man gets his rights," Nasim said while protesting against the provincial government outside the Peshawar Press Club. "These fat politicians have eaten up the roots of the country, but I will continue my struggle against the oppressed people of this country."
Nasim claimed he spoke on behalf of 98% of the country’s population.
Hundreds of people from different union councils of the city joined the protest outside the press club, chanting slogans for the rights of ‘Aam Aadmi’ and criticising the PTI government for ignoring their leader.
Nasim was expelled from PTI over his hostile attitude and statements against leaders of the party. He did not even cast his vote during the Senate polls in the K-P Assembly last week. He, however, was said to have seconded an independent candidate.
"My allegiance is still with PTI, but its leadership has doubts over my loyalty," said Nasim. “Even if I had come to vote and had cast the ballot in favour of my own party, they would have still doubted my intentions," he said, adding he did not show up for the Senate polls because of the negative attitude of some party leaders.
"Like other parties, PTI also has armed men who attack all those who oppose their political views," alleged Nasim. "My house was attacked and my family members including my mother were mistreated," he said, referring to the protest outside his house earlier this month.
