Brotherly ties: FPCCI stresses on helping Iraq’s development

President Riazal Gizri said there was a need to establish a joint chamber of commerce.

Pakistan can play an important role in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Iraq in every respect, said Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Acting President Abdul Rahim Janoo.


During a meeting with a 20-member Iraqi delegation visiting FPCCI head office, he said that Iraq was going through a reconstruction phase and Pakistan could take this opportunity in helping the country’s economy and its people.


“Iraq is a brotherly country and we wish to stand with it to address the economic and industrial problems, and exchange experiences in various developments,” said Janoo.


Iraqi Federation of Chambers of Commerce President Riazal Gizri said there was a need to establish a joint chamber of commerce.
