The 24-year-old had initially seen the dress as white and gold but now sees it as black and blue exclusively.

"It was one internet thing that I really couldn't wrap my brain around. It was very frustrating. Because of this, I thought it would be fun to get the dress tattooed on my leg," Howland told the Mail Online.
“Either people really love it, or they think I'm a complete tool. Some of my friends also think I'm stupid for doing it. But my parents think it's really funny. I didn't see a reason not to have it done,” he added.
The picture of the £50 dress, produced by Roman Originals, led to much confusion as some saw the dress as blue and black while others saw it as white and gold.
Although the dress is already available in a range of colours, the dress manufacturer is now considering making the dress in white and gold to cater to people on both sides of the dress debate.
Howland first revealed his tattoo on Instagram, captioning his post as "did a thing on my leg."
As the news of his tattoo broke, Twitter users began sharing their opinions and views of the tattoo.
