WWF Pakistan celebrates with students

World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Pakistan celebrated Earth Day Gala 2010 on Thursday by arranging a drawing competition, an art exhibition, beach cleanings, environment games and a magic and puppet show.
Around 1,600 students from public and private schools, colleges and universities attended and participated in the event. “Earth Day Gala 2010 has been celebrated with an aim to usher in a new era of nature conservation, encouraging personal accountability and behavioural change to facilitate sustainable living on our planet,” said WWF Pakistan officials Marriyum Aurangzeb at the event.
