LARKANA/ KARACHI: Preedy police arrested 11 suspects, said to be Afghan nationals who did not possess legal documents, during raids in Saddar on Saturday. They were identified as Muhammad Alam, Habibullah, Saeed Gul, Aziz, Zardad, Shafi, Hamsheer, Hameed, Alauddin and Jalil. A case has been registered against them. Meanwhile in Larkana, the Market police arrested seven Afghan citizens on Friday as they did not have valid passports or travelling documents. The arrested men included five brothers, Naseem, Zaman, Talha, Mirza and Shahzad Khan, as well as Saeed Jan and Naeem Khan. They told the police that they hailed from Jalalabad, Afghanistan, and used to sell used shoes. Larkana SSP Kamran Nawaz said the police were focusing upon Afghan citizens in accordance with the federal government’s National Action Plan. They will be handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency.
