The Pakistani film industry has recently gone through a transformation of sorts with back-to-back films scoring big on the box office. Some are even being received well internationally. While some TV stars are getting opportunities to showcase their talent in movies, there are some we are yet to see on the big screen .

Here’s a list of five actresses that are sure to set the screen on fire.

1. Sanam Saeed

The actor best known as “Kashaf Murtuza” in one of the most popular drama serials in recent past Zindagi Gulzar Hai is one individual we would all love to see on the big screen. From theatre to television, her performances throughout her career have been very convincing.

Saeed has already established herself as a leading actress in Pakistan and will be soon seen in an upcoming venture, Mah-e-Meer, a Pakistani biographical film. Here's hoping she impresses us with her talent, yet again.

2. Saba Qamar

Saba Qamar is a talented Pakistani model and actor who has convinced the audience and critics that she can do diverse roles and still ace all. Appearing in a variety of television dramas, some of her most memorable performances include Dastaan, Bunty I Love You, Pani Jaisa Piyar and Maat.

She has gained more popularity and fan mass with her latest stint in Digest Writer on Hum TV.

3. Ayesha Omar

Omar became the darling of television after her hit sitcom, Bulbulay, and she will definitely be a good addition to the Pakistani film industry. A diversified actor, Omar can do comedy as well as serious and romantic roles and is also a convincing supporting actor (Sara in Zindagi Gulzar Hai).

She is currently filming her first film, Yalghaar, set to release this year. We are definitely eager to watch her on the big screen!

4. Sarwat Gillani

The very talented artist who has shined in the drama serial, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, is definitely one of our top actresses.

Sarwat worked in a telefilm in 2013 but we are sure her fans can't wait to see her doing some vital roles in films.

5. Syra Yousuf

An actor, model and VJ, Yousuf made her acting debut in serial Mera Naseeb. Her character Nazia got her love and appreciation from the viewers. She later appeared in Mohabbat Rooth Jaye Toh and Bilqees Kaur.

Syra Yousuf is  definitely one of those young actors capable of performing on the big screen. We hope she gets that chance soon!
