Call for protest : ‘PTI will shut down Faisalabad’

Party chairman Imran Khan would lead protest rally on February 27

FAISALABAD:
Pakistan Tehree-i-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday announced that the party would “shut down” Faisalabad on February 27 in protest against police for failing to arrest those involved in killing a PTI worker on December 8. Talking to newsmen, PTI district president Rana Ahmad Raheel said party chairman Imran Khan would lead protest rally on February 27. He said PTI workers would march on Sammundri Road and stage a sit outside the residence of former law minister Rana Sanaullah Khan. He said on February 13 PTI workers would protest against the joint investigation team that exonerated those accused of killing the PTI worker. He said a judicial commission should be formed to investigate the December 8 killing. “PTI workers will stage a sit-in at the office of Deputy Superintendent Malik Khalid and offer their arrests voluntarily if police seek to intimidate them.” Raheel urged the chief justice to take notice of December 8 killing case.
