Bad bookkeeping: Two managers arrested

BAHAWALPUR:
Police on Wednesday arrested two hotel managers for not maintaining records of guests staying at the hotels as required under the Punjab Temporary Residents Ordinance.
A police spokesman said Cantt police had raided Silver Star Hotel located in Model Town where there was no record of Zahid and Hafeez, who had been staying at the hotel for several weeks. He said hotel manager Muhammad Tariq was arrested. The spokesman said in another raid in Trust Colony, Farrukh Shahzad, the manager of Welcome Guest House, was arrested for not having record for the stay of one Sharif who had been staying there for several days.
