In broad daylight: Cattle dealer robbed

BAHAWALPUR: A cattle dealer was robbed of Rs12.2 million rupees when he was going to work on Wednesday.

A Sama Satta police spokesman said Rana Liaqat Ali was walking to the cattle market on Karachi Mor around 10am when three armed men on a motorbike held him up and took away Rs12.2 million.

Bahawalpur DPO Sarfraz Ahmad Falki, DSP Saddar Riaz Hussain Bukhari and Samasatta SHO Rana Hakim Ali visited the scene with a police squad and formed teams to arrest the robbers.
