CTD head constable gunned down
Five-year-old son also injured in what police are calling a targeted attack

A head constable of the Counter-terrorism department (CTD) was shot dead in Garhi Qamardin, within the jurisdiction of Banamarhi police station, on Monday night.
CTD Head Constable Sida Gul was going home with his son on a motorbike when unidentified assailants opened firing on him, killing Guk on the spot. His five-year-old son Umair was injured in the attack. The attackers managed to flee after committing the crime.
“It looks like yet another incident of target killing as Sida Gul was on his bike along with his son when unidentified people opened fire,” a Banamarhi police official told The Express Tribune.
