Pakistan’s cricket team joined hands with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday, lending full support to its anti-corruption campaign ‘Say No to Corruption’.
The national team, on the eve of their departure for the World Cup 2015, had displayed ‘Say no to corruption’ message — as NAB has intensified its efforts against corruption.
After signing a memorandum of understanding with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), the bureau has now joined hands with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to create awareness amongst the masses against corruption.
NAB chief Qamar Zaman Chaudhry appreciated the role of the PCB chairman for asking the country’s top cricketers to make a pledge against endemic corruption.
Displaying NAB’s official message for year 2015 “Say No to Corruption” has given strength to NAB’s campaign against corruption and corrupt practices, said a statement issued by the anti-graft body.
