Cng supply: Owners for operations across Punjab
ISLAMABAD:
The All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) has expressed reservations over the government’s decision to allow CNG stations to operate in Lahore only for two days a week. APCNGA leader, Ghiyas Paracha, said all of Punjab was suffering from shortage of fuel, so CNG stations should be allowed to operate for seven days a week across the province. Paracha said CNG stations in Punjab were closed since last November, and staff had been laid off and meters of many outlets had been removed, which had made it impossible for many station owners to resume operations. He said restarting operations would bring additional burden.
